Braamekraal Farm is inhabited by a minor branch of the Morris family, which includes a Doggie, an indeterminate number of Chickens, thousands of wild birds, reptiles, forest animals, and who-knows how many moles, earthworms and soil bacteria.

Personæ Dramatis#

• Mike, late-forty-something, and Prime Instigator of all the trouble.
• Jayne, late-forties Mom, chief baker, and all-round Wise Woman.
• Jason, chronologically number one son & Carrie, his partner wife. They lived in the cottage for a couple of years before acquiring their own house in the nearby Slow Town Sedgefield. They often bring the Myah Dog to play with the Keira Dog.
• Dale, Son the Younger, and now only sometime-resident as he is reading for his Masters Degree in Zoology at Rhodes University.
