GardenBed0#

Not actually a "bed" in its own right... it runs down the middle part of the veggie garden, and separates beds 0-7 from 8-14. This bed features a number of perennials, currently including:

  • the 7m-tall (and growing!) Bay Laurel (Lauris nobilis)
  • intentions of a compost-bin style bed for Horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) to make it easy to harvest clean (and long!) roots.
  • A 2m-tall Tamarillo at the East end of the Horseradish-bin.

I have set a wire frame around where the Horseradish bed is to be. Someday soon I'll fill it with compost and eliminate all the Horseradish roots that come up outside that space. Currently they grow in any of the pathways, under the Bay Tree, and wherever they will. I've only been at this a year or so, so it's early days yet... Complain at me when its been a decade ;-)
